Mrs. Capron Entertains Curtis Club

Curtis, Nov. 24. - The Curtis Improvement club was entertained at the home of Mrs. O. M. Capron Thursday. Members present were Mesdames Aase, Anderson, Brewer, Battey, Bellenger, Hannen, Hadesbeck, Sutherland, Parker, Payette, Ogle, Goff, Mortimore, Johnson, Reynolds and Pratt; Misses Victoria Charlson, Laura Ogle and Zula Parker. Visitors were Mrs. Grant Thompsen, Mrs. P. C. Rotheler and Vera Wilson. The business hour was used in preparing for the bazaar booth. A dainty lunch was served by the hostess. In a cracker eating contest Mrs. Reynolds won first prize. Club will meet December 3 at the home of Mrs. Carlson in Centralia.

C. Kipp is confined to his home with a badly sprained back.

Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Payette had the following guests for Sunday dinner: Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Carlson and sons Teddy and Bud of Centralia, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Dugaw and sons Jack and Wilber of Chehalis and Miss June Theiring. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Saindon of Centralia visited them during the afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. O. Goff entertained at Sunday dinner the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. C. Thompson and Dean Thompson of Centralia, Mrs. T. J. Van Brimmer, Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Van Brimmer, Maurine Van Brimmer, Lucille Van Brimmer and Margaret Skinner, all of Napavine.
