The above photo was submitted by Don Olson. "This was taken of her in Chattanooga, TN on her way to Winlock. She traveled with her mother Sarah, with her uncle Thomas and his family, and her great-aunt Barbara Caroline Penland/Snow. They arrived in Winlock 29 April 1890. Isabelle was born 11 Apr 1873, and this photo was probably taken on her 17th birthday as they were on their journey west. Larkin & Barbara Snow had no children, but raised Mary Morgan as a foster child who marries Thomas Snow. Barbara was a widow at the time of their migrating west. She died in 1908, and is buried in the Snow Graveyard near Joseph and Margaret's homestead on their 160 acre parcel described as the west half of the west half of Section 12, Township 11 North latitude, Range 3 West longitude, from the Willamette Meridian."
