Spencer Rite Set

MOSSYROCK - Edward B. Spencer, 79, a resident of Mossyrock, died Monday in a Vancouver hospital.

He was born Aug. 8, 1890, in Holcomb, W. Va. He had been a resident of the Mossyrock area for 50 years. He was a logger, farmer and Baptist minister, and was a veteran of the United States Army, World War I, a member of the Mossyrock New Home Baptist Church and the Mossyrock VFW.

Survivors include the widow, Myrtle, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Leo (Alice) Many, Yakima; three sons, Elgar and Arnold, both Mossyrock, and Russell, Ethel; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Spencer, Vancouver; three brothers, Hobert, Cenlralia; Gilbert, Seattle, and Chester, Mossyrock, and ten grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday, i jn, at the Boone Mortuary Chapel, Chehalis, with the Revs. Earl Workman and Homer Toiler officiating. Interment will follow at the Doss Cemetery, Mossyrock.
