Mrs. Ellen Devlin, one of the oldest pioneers of the state and the last remaining member of the original Dobson family, died at her late residence in this city Tuesday evening. She was the sister of John, Thomas and Henry Dobson, pioneers and developers of this part of the state. The Dobsons were all born in England, but came to the United States many years ago. Mrs. Devlin was nearly seventy years of age at the time of her death and had lived in this state fifty years. She leaves two sons, James and Charles, both honored residents of Centralia. The funeral was held on Thursday from the Catholic church. The interment was made in Mountain View cemetery.
