Vader Pioneer Passed
Edward Groleau, another of Vader's pioneers, passed away at his home here Sunday, after months of intense suffering from cancer. The funeral services will be held from the Catholic church Wednesday morning. Mr. Groleau was born in Providence, Quebec, January 27, 1862. He was married in 1887 to Miss Mary Greenfield at Warsaw, Wis. In 1891 the family moved to Vader, for many years residing on a farm near town, but in later years living in town. He is survived by his widow, and four sons, Edward Jr., and John, both of Vader, Eugene of Chehalis and Alva of Raymond; four grandchildren and two sisters and a brother in Canada also many friends.
