E. J. DONOVAN DIES

Edward J. Donovan passed away at a local hospital Tuesday afternoon. His home was in Seattle, but for the past two years he had been employed by the Apex Lumber Company operating near Pe Ell. A short time ago Donovan jumped off a trestle to avoid being struck by a logging train and received injuries. Deceased is survived by his widow, Elizabeth Donovan, of Seattle; three brothers, T. H. and Mike Donovan of Seattle, and Jerry Donovan of Everett; one sister, Mrs. T. Sculley of Stillwater, Minn. The remains were shipped to Seattle Wednesday by the Sticklin Undertaking Company for burial.
