Died at his home in Centralia, Wash., May 25th, 1905, Ernest L. Clark, eldest son of Franklin and Zina Clark.

Ernest Loverin Clark was born at Bismarck, N. D. Jan. 24th, 1884. In 1889 the family removed to Centralia, where the remainder of his life was spent. He was well known as a member of the M.E. church.

Four years ago he began the study of Pharmacy in the City Drug Store where he remained until his last sickness, winning many friends and proving himself a reliable assistant. Never strong since a former sickness, life was a constant battle but he was patient and uncomplaining to the last. He lives in our memories as a dutiful son, a loving brother, and faithful friend.

Those of the family left to mourn his loss are Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Clark and Clyde H. Clark of Centralia, and Mrs. H. S. Weir of Spokane.

God calls our loved ones but we lose
Not wholly what he hat given;
They live on earth in thought and deed
As truly as in heaven.

To all the kind friends who have in any way assisted us in the affliction we have been called upon to bear, we extend our heart felt thanks. Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Clark and family.
