Mrs. Elizabeth Schindler died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Murry, at 523 New York avenue, Chehalis, Monday evening, December 10. Mrs. Schindler, who was 79 years of age, had resided here the past six months. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Josephine Murry of Chehalis, Mrs. Victoria Schmid of Tacoma, Mrs. Marie North of Portland, and Mrs. Elizabeth Kraemer and Sister Mary Protasia, O. S. B., both of Mt. Angel, Ore.; also five sons, Rev. Father Joseph, O. S. B., and John Schindler, both of Mt. Angel, Ore.; Aloisius Schindler of Menlo Park, Calif.; Theodore Schindler of Chehalis, and Peter Schindler of Friend, Ore. Solemn mass was held Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Chehalis, at which Rev. Father Joseph of Mt. Angel, son of the deceased, officiated. Later the body was shipped by the John W. Boone Mortuary to Mt. Angel, where services were held at 10 o'clock yesterday morning.
