Mrs. Florence Kendall Dies in Portland

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Portland for Mrs. Florence A. Kendall, 70, who died in that city Sunday, following a long illness. Mrs. Kendall was widely known and highly respected at Chehalis, where she made her home the past fourteen years assisting as local agent for the Milwaukee lines, where her son, Nelson C. Kendall is agent in charge. She was born in New Hampshire and had resided three years in Washington before coming to Chehalis fourteen years ago. In addition to Mr. Kendall, the deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R. H. Brockhagen of Portland and Mrs. Josephine Cockey of Seattle.
