Merchant Rites Set
Frank Aden Merchant, a Centralia resident for the past six years, died Wednesday in a Centralia hospital following a short illness. He was 79.
Born Sept. 12, 1885, in Iowa, Mr. Merchant had lived in Sunnyside for 12 years prior to moving to Centralia. He was a retired hoisting engineer and member of the First Assembly of God in Centralia.
Survivors include the widow, Alice M., at home; a son, Waller M. Merchant, Centralia, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Newell-Hoerling's, Centralia, with Pastor Raymond R. Wiley officiating.
Burial will follow at Mountain View.
