The friends of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Foote in Centralia will hear with regret and sorrow that their eldest son, Fred E. Foote, died at Milton, N. C., July 29th. The young man had been attending the Virginia Polytechnic College at Blacksburg, Wa., and returned home on June 17th, when he was stricken with typhoid fever.
Fred E. Foote was born in Centralia, April 14th, 1892, and went to Milton, N. C., with his parents in 1907. His old friends and schoolmates in Centralia will hear this news with sorrow and there will be much sympathy felt in this city for the bereaved parents.
