THE ENGAGEMENT of Miss Ann Fields to John Kaufman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter H. Kaufman of Chehalis has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Fields, Boise, Idaho. Both are seniors at Willamette University. Miss Fields has served as president of Associated Women Students. Mr. Kaufman is a member of Beta Theta Pi. Following graduation he plans to study further at Oregon State College where he has been granted as [sic] assistantship in Chemistry. No date has been set for the wedding.
