Frank J. Mehl.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Lutheran church for Frank J. Mehl, late resident of Bend, Ore., whose death occurred from heart trouble Friday at a Portland hospital. Mr. Mehl, who was 55 years of age, was for most of his life, previous to going to Bend, a resident of Lewis county. He lived many years at Toledo; later at Chehalis and Centralia, where he engaged in the marble works business. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Carrie Mehl of Toledo; three daughters, Mrs. Fern Lowell of Klamath Falls, Ore.; Mrs. Wesley Welcome and Dorothy Mehl of Bend; and two sons, George Mehl of Toledo, and a stepson, Charles Larson of Salt Lake City, Utah; also three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Gleason of Toledo, Mrs. Lizzie Schmund of Vancouver and Mrs. L. A. Hopkins of Centralia; and three brothers, Fred Mehl of Toledo, Al Mehl of Seattle and Ed Mehl of Los Angeles. Frank had many friends locally, who were grieved to learn of his death.
