Frank K. Johnson
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon under United Spanish War Veterans auspices, at the Sticklin Mortuary for Frank K. Johnson, 57 who died December 23 in a Portland hospital, following an extended illness. Mr. Johnson was for a number of years a resident of the Chehalis district. He was a member of Company I, West Virginia Volunteer Infantry, during the Spanish-American war. Locally he was a member of John H. Wholley Camp, Centralia, United Spanish War Veterans. Surviving relatives are three brothers, F. H. Johnson of St. Marys, W. Va.; Rev. John E. Johnson of Maryland; W. T. Johnson of Bremerton; and three sisters, Mrs. Alice Gregory of Kovan, W. Va., and Misses Bessie and Kressie Johnson, also living in that state. Rev. R. B. Parcel of Winlock officiated at the funeral. Burial was in the Spanish War Veterans plot in Greenwood cemetery.
