Franklin P. Stiltner Dies At Morton November 27

Morton, Dec. 1 - Franklin P. Stiltner, 78, died at the family home here November 27 of pneumonia. He had resided locally the past nineteen years. Mr. Stiltner was a member of the Baptist church. He was born in Virginia, March 9, 1856. Surviving him are the widow, Mrs. Annie Stiltner; three daughters, Mrs. Donald Donahue of Tacoma, Mrs. Mary Backstrom of Seaside, Ore., and Mrs. J. R. Cox of West Virginia; and five sons, Samuel, Grant, Peter and Max Stiltner of Morton and Morton Stiltner of West Virginia. J. J. Kreps, Morton undertaker, had charge of the funeral. This was held Friday. Reverend Rose officiated. Burial was at the Stiltner cemetery.
