Frank J. Saliger
The death of Frank J. Saliger, for many years a farmer on the north fork of the Newaukum river, died Tuesday at the age of 58 years. He was born in Austria and settled in Lewis County in 1887. Mr. Saliger was prominent in affairs of his section and was active in politics, school and other public affairs. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Saliger; four daughters, Louise Frances, Marie and Josephine; three sons, Rudolph of Los Angeles; Arthur of Adna and Frank J. living on Route 2, Chehalis, also his aged mother, two brothers and two sisters. The body is at the Sticklin Mortuary and funeral services will be held from the Catholic church Monday at 10 a.m. Rev. Eugene Duffy officiting. Burial at Claquato.
