The community was shocked Saturday to hear that Mrs. T. L. Devereese had died at her home in Riverside Saturday morning at an early hour. She had returned home but a week previously from Omaha where she and Mr. Devereese had spent the winter with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Herzog. Her health had been poor for the past year, during which time she had been suffering from Bright's disease which was the cause of her death. The remains were prepared for shipment and Wednesday were taken to the former home of the deceased in Omaha.
