Death Claims George Moore

George M. Moore, 78, resident of Chehalis for the past seven years, died at his home Monday. Born Nov. 2, 1876, in Nicholas County, West Virginia. He lived in the Dryad area for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Lilly, at home; six daughters, Mrs. Opal Arndt, Twin Falls, Ida.; Mrs. Austria Zurfluh, Mrs. Winona Sweringen, Mrs. Donna Bull, all of Centralia; Mrs. Jessie Kitchel and Mrs. Helen Morrow, Chehalis; Three sons, Everett, Myrtle Point, Ore.; Fred, Brookings, Ore. And Foy, Tillamook, Ore; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Ward, Nicholas County, W. Va., and Mrs. Erma Skelton, Eureka, California; two brothers, Obe, Myrtle Point, Ore., and Simeon, Doty, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. on Thursday at the Fissell Funeral Home in Chehalis with the Rev. Earl Workman officiating. Burial will follow in the Dryad cemetery.
