G. Marvin Turner
G. Marvin Turner, 66 died Friday at Winlock, where he had resided the past 22 years. He was member of a pioneer Oregon family, and a Spanish War veteran. he had served on the Winlock City Council and was proprietor of an electric and sporting goods store. He was an ardent supporter of the movement for the preservation of wild life. Surviving are his widow, Ida.; a son, Nolan D. Turner, of Olympia; a duaghter, Mrs. Ayres of Winlock and a brother, T. C. Turner of Portland.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Cattermole chapel at Winlock, followed by burial in Riverview cemetery under the auspices of the Spanish American War Veterans of Portland.
