Hezekiah Blankinship, aged 70 years, died Friday, January 1, at the family home at Ethel where he had resided the past five years. Previous to going to Ethel the family had lived on Green Mountain, near Riffe, for 25 years. Mr. Blankenship's death followed a long period of invalidism. He was born in West Virginia November 27, 1861, and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Peggy Blankinship; two sons, Jaby and Albert Blankinship; a daughter, Mrs. Bonney Blankinship; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, of Ethel; and a brother, Jacob Blankinship, who lives in Pennsylvania.
Funeral services, directed by the Fissel funeral home, were held Sunday at Mossyrock.
