Hollis C. Gore
Hollis C. (*Chubbuck) Gore, aged 82 died Monday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wm Blair at Puyallup. Mr. Gore was a veteran of the Civil War and a former inmate of the soldiers' home at Orting. The remains were shipped to Chehalis and funeral services held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Salkum church. Rev James A. Sutton of the Methodist Church, Chehalis, officiating. Mr. Gore leaves to mourn his death three daughters, Mrs. Blair of Puyallup, Mrs. Maude Wright of Salkum, and Mrs. Bertha Wright of Eastern Oregon and a son, Edwin Gore of Salkum. Interment was made in the Salkum cemetery under the direction of E. C. Fissel.
