Mrs. Hulda Nelson, 48, wife of Joseph Nelson, well known owner of a service station at the Newaukum prairie crossing of the C. C. & C. railroad, died Sunday. In addition to the widower, Mrs. Nelson is survived locally by a daughter, Belle Nelson and three sons, Glenn, Jerry and Thomas Nelson. Her mother and a sister live in the east. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Boone's Mortuary, Rev. E. L. Kechley of the Christian church officiated. Burial was at Claquato.
