Harold Maxton

Harold Maxton, 72, a resident of Chehalis for about 25 years, died Wednesday at a Chehalis hospital.

He was born Nov. 29, 1901, in Phoenixville, Pa. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Chehalis United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Charlotte, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Ora-Mae) McGee, Eugene, Ore., and Mrs. Don R. (Charlene) Madlin, Bremerton; a son, Harold R., Chehalis; a sister, Ora Maxton, Malvern, Pa., and four grandchildren.

Services will be Friday, 1 p.m. at the Boone Chapel of the Brown Mortuary Service, Chehalis, with the Rev. Walter Gleiser officiating. Interment will follow at the Claquato Cemetery.
