"Lewis Pioneer Passes Away"

Onalaska, Feb. 20. - One of Lewis county's pioneer residents, Hattie M. Kylor, 77, passed away Monday at her home on Star route, Onalaska. Born in 1873 at Stillwater, Minn., she had lived in Lewis county for 75 years. She was a former postmistress at Knox and a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.

The deceased is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Lee and Mrs. Florence Fechtner, Onalaska, and Mrs. Olga Quick, Chehalis; three brothers, Ernest Shay, Cloverdale, B. C.; Elmer Shay, Port Angeles, and Charles Shay, Spokane, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Sticklin's Chehalis chapel under the auspices of Jehovah's Witnesses. Interment at Napavine cemetery will follow.
