HARRY R. DETER

Harry R. Deter, a resident of Fremont, Calif., and a former 25-year resident of Centralia and Lewis County, died Monday at a Centralia nursing home. He was 80.

Mr. Deter was born June 29, 1892, in Wabash, Ind., and had moved to Centralia from California. He was a retired sawmill worker and farmer and had attended the Church of the Nazarene, Hayward, Calif.

Surviving are three sons, LeRoy, Placerville, Calif., and Daniel and Milo, both of Fremont, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Viola) Bryson, Centralia, and Mrs. Grant (Lucille) Lewis, Rochester; a sister, Mrs. Opal Malone, Wabash, Ind., 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Centralia Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Bob Denham officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Centralia.

Arrangements are under the direction of Newell-Hoerling's, Centralia.
