Hugh Shaw
Hugh Shaw, a resident of the county the past 47 years, died last Friday following a lingering illness. He was a native of Scotland and was 89 years of age, and came to the United States when six years old. Mr. Shaw is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edith Kitchel Werts of Bunker. Burial services were held at the Claquato cemetery Sunday, the Rev. Norman McCay of the Methodist church officiating. Arrangements were in charge of Sticklin’s mortuary.
