"Mrs. B. B. Allender"
Mrs. Ben Allender died at the family home in the Newaukum valley Monday night, aged 62 years. Mrs. Allender had resided locally the past 35 years, the family coming to Chehalis from Iowa. For many years Mr. and Mrs. Allender were engaged in the restaurant business in this city, moving a few years ago to their farm. Surviving relatives are the widower and a daughter, Mrs. Jettie Bradshaw of Napavine. A brother, John Jerrel, lives in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Fissel Funeral Home, Rev. Lorimer officiating. Burial was at Greenwood.
