Isabelle "Toots" Tveter, of Mineral, passed away on October 15, at the Orchard Park Rehabilitation Center, in Tacoma at the age of 84.

"Toots" was born on September 25, 1919 in Mineral, WA to Steven and Bertha (Fritz) Sokol, one of nine children. "Toots" worked for Pacific National Lumber Mill in National, WA, where she met Leif Gunnar Tveter. They were married on April 5, 1946 in Tacoma. The couple worked for Northwest Door in Tacoma from 1946 until they moved to Mineral in 1970, where they worked for St. Regis and Murray Pacific for 12 years.

"Toots" was very active with the Daughters of America during the early 60s and 70s. She enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing and cooking. She espec-ially enjoyed the family gatherings. The last 14 years of her life she was a resident of the Orchard Park Rehabilitation Center, in Tacoma.

Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Leif, her parents, her brother Lawrence Sokol, and her sister Josie Sokol.

She is survived by her sisters Grace Hall, Anna Suter, Rose Johnson her brothers George Sokol, Roy Sokol, Dick Sokol, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Neighborhood Christian Center, in Mineral, WA with the Rev. Steven Downs officiating. Private family interment will follow at the Mineral Cemetery, under the care of the Brown Mortuary, Morton.
