A Centralia resident since 1914, John Arlie Wilson, 77, died in a Seattle hospital Thursday, October 24. Wilson, a former millworker, was born June 28, 1908 in Grand Junction, Colorado. He belonged to the Disabled American Veterans 29. Wilson was preceded in death by a son, Charles A. Wilson in 1979. Survivers include four daughters, Sandra J. Blankenship Of Onalaska; Sharon Mars and Claudette Wilson, both Of Centralia, and Donna Jean Meier of Selah; two sons, William and Rick E. Wilson, both of Sacramento, California; a sister, Ruth A. Williams of Seattle, a step-daughter, Leta Wilbur of Rochester; two step-sons, Daniel Rasch of Rochester and Martin Rasch of Omaha, Nebraska; 24 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A service will be conducted Wednesday at 10:30 am at Newell-Hoerlings Chapel, Centralia, with interment to be in Mountain View Cemetery, Centralia.
