Joseph Taylor

Joseph Taylor, a former resident of this section, died early Sunday morning at the family home, 691 East 46th street north, Portland, at the age of 67 years. By a strange coincidence, Mr. Taylor’s death followed shortly after that of his mother, Mrs. Barbara Taylor, who passed away Thursday at the age of 94. Mr. Taylor attended the funeral of his mother here and returned to Portland Saturday afternoon, apparently in his usual health. His sudden death Sunday morning came as a great shock to his family. He is survived by his wife, Bertha N. Taylor, three sons, Joseph Willis and Howard Linn Taylor of Portland and Jordan C. Taylor of Boston, Mass.; five brothers, John, Anton, Wenzell, Louis and Charles Taylor, all residing in the vicinity of Chehalis, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Hoch, Seattle. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Portland.
