PHILLIPI - John Walter, 73, Rt. 2, Chehalis, passed away Feb. 15th in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 15, 1886 in Chehalis and had been a lifetime resident. Mr. Phillipi was a member of the First Christian church. Surviving the deceased is his wife, Nellie; a daughter, Mrs. Alta Larter, Tacoma; a son, Norman, Roseburg, Ore; two sisters, Mrs. Jim Chapman and Mrs. Ben Moravec, Centralia; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Fissell Funeral Home with Rev. George Kendall officiating. Interment in Fern Hill cemetery.
