LINZY BAYS
Onalaska - Linzy Bays, 73 a resident of the Onalaska area for 58 years, coming from Morton, died Sunday, Oct. 12 in Morton General Hospital.
Bays was born Aug. 29 1907 in Morton, and had been a logger and farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Gertrude, at home, two daughters, Mrs. Betty Hinderman of Onalaska, and Mrs. Dick (Joanne) Dickason of Randle, a son, Jerry Bays of Auburn, three sisters, Emma Baker of Chehalis, Gladys McTaggart of Ritzville and Mrs. Sam (Oma) McTaggert of Mica; a brother, Herman Bays of Otis, Ore.; nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Salkum Cemetery with Pastor Andrew Wolcott officiating. Casket bearers are Earl Murphy, Gene and John Frase, Lorin Smetzler, Adolph Johnson and George Blair.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Brown Mortuary Service.
