Death Takes Rural Chehalin
Mrs. Oscar C. (Lemma) Blakemore, route 2, Chehalis, resident, passed away Monday in a Chehalis hospital at the age of 80.
Born May 15, 1875, in Dunklin, Mo., Mrs. Blakemore had been a Chehalis resident for 10 years, coming from Flint, Mich. She was a member of the Chehalis Methodist church and the Logan Hill Home Economics club.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Earl Broadway, route 2, Chehalis; two sons, William Oscar, Flushing, Mich., and J. Ballard, Phoenix, Ariz., six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are pending at the John W. Boone mortunary at Chehalis.
