Pioneer Passes Away

One by one the old pioneers are passing to the great beyond from where no traveler returns. The last to answer the call being Mrs. Lizzie E. L. Taylor who died at her home on the old Chehalis road Sunday April 11, '09.

The interment will take place at the Mountain View cemetery at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 13. The services to be held at the Baptist Church, Rev. Black officiating.

Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd and was born in Kentucky in 1843. She married Mr. Taylor in 1866. The result of the union being six boys and four girls all now living but two of the girls. Of those now living Wm. M. Taylor, J. F. Taylor, R. L. Taylor, W. M. Taylor and Mrs. Garrett reside in Centralia. J. G. Taylor is in San Francisco and E. N. Taylor in North Yakima, while another daughter, Mrs. Garrett, lives in Tacoma.
