LAURA E. SIMCOX
Laura E. Simcox, 96, a resident of Chehalis since 1936, died Tuesday at a Centralia nursing home.
She was born Dec. 20, 1876, in Brookfield, Ohio. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chehalis.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ted (Dorothy) Larson, Chehalis; Mrs. Thomas (Marion) Williamson, Chehalis, and Mrs. Virginia Halloran, Carlsbad, N.M.; two sons, the Rev. Carroll E. Simcox, Milwaukee, Wis., and J. Russell Simcox, Osceola, Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Fred (Grace) Ulp, Hubbard, Ohio; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at the Fissell Chapel of the Brown Mortuary Service with the Rev. Lloyd Holloway, officiating.
Interment will follow at the Claquato Cemetery, Chehalis.
