Winlock, July 1---Mrs. Martha Alice Ferrier, 76, died Friday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clara McKague, near Ariel, Cowlitz county. She was the wife of former county commissioner, John W. Ferrier of Lewis county, the family settling in the Cowlitz valley near Toledo 65 years ago. They had been married 58 years. In addition to the widower and the daughter named, Mrs. Ferrier is survived by a son, Ira Ferrier of Montesano and a sister, Mrs. Ellen Latimer of Dryad. Funeral services were held here at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, at the Cattermole Funeral Home. Rev. Levi Smith of the Baptist church officiated. Burial was in the family plot at Vader cemetery.
