Mossyrock Native Dies
MOSSYROCK - A native resident of Mossyrock, Mrs. Mary Spencer, 53, died Monday in a Centralia hospital following a lingering illness.
Born here July 4, 1910, she had lived there all her life.
Survivors include her mother, Rinda Foultner, Toutle; three daughters, Ruth Spencer, at home; Mrs. James Adams, Centralia, and Mrs. Virgil Davis, Ocean Park; four sons, Lowell, Mossyrock; Royce, Riffe; Roy, Port Angeles, and Leland, Seattle; four sisters, Mrs. Otto Cook and Mrs. Barney Bond, Oysterville; Mrs. Harley Cook, Onalaska, and Mrs. Florence Merly, Pistol River, Ore.; four brothers, Paul, Dave and Vance Foultner, all of Toutle, and Alfred, Adna, and 18 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Ajlune Church of Brethren. The Rev. Walter Peckover will officiate with interment to follow at the Doss cemetery at Mossyrock under the direction of the Fissell Funeral Home.
