Mrs. Mary Heck.

Mrs. Mary Heck, 97, born on Cowlitz prairie, a member of the Cowlitz Indian tribe, died at her home at the Oakville Indian reservation Saturday. She was the mother of Bishop Peter Heck, bishop of the Shaker churches of the Cowlitz and Chehalis tribes. She was well known among the pioneer residents of the southwest. Two other sons, Silas and Adam, both of Oakille, also survive. Funeral services were held Monday at Oakville.
