DAY - Mary Jane, 79, Randle, passed away Feb. 11th in a Morton hospital. She was born March 23, 1880 in Yeager, W. Va., and had been a resident of Randle since 1906. Mrs. Day was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving the deceased is her husband, Enoche, Denny, Calif; nine daughters, Mrs. Nina Hackney, Randle; Mrs. Pearl Boone, Winlock; Mrs. Blanche Badger, Denny Calif; Mrs. Georgia Hales, New Castle, Calif; Mrs. Lenora Griffith, Windsor, Calif; Mrs. Dorothy Fritsch, Ellensburg; Mrs. Kathleen Smathers, Randle; Mrs. Wilma Taylor, Yakima; three sons, Charles, Randle; Arthur, Willow Creek and Elmer, Ketchikan, Alaska; 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Silver Brook Baptist church with Rev. Ray Hill officiating. Interment in Silver Creek cemetery under direction of the Fissell Funeral Home.
