The death of Mrs. Marie Knizek occurred Wednesday morning at the family home at 1505 Fifth street in Chehalis. Deceased was the widow of P. Knizek. This family was one of the earliest that settled in the Elk creek country near Doty, before the building of the South Ben branch of the Northern Pacific, 35 years ago. Four sons and one daughter, two brothers and two sisters survive Mrs. Knizek. The sons are Jos. Knizek, deputy United States marshal with headquarters in Seattle; Joe and Anton Knizek of Doty, and Prokop Knizek of Raymond; the daughter is Miss Marie Knizek of this city; the brothers Bert Janacek of Doty and Mat Janacek of Raymond; the sisters, Mrs. John Foster of Doty and Mrs. Joe Javorsak of Klaber. The body was removed to the Fissel undertaking parlors.
