Mrs. Minerva Roundtree, 87, died early yesterday morning at her home in Klaber. She had lived there 67 years, since 1869, and had crossed the plains from the east in a prairie schooner. She was born February 19, 1849, in Missouri.
Surviving are four sons, John of Klaber, Harvey of Shelton, Charles of Olympia and Alfred of Klaber; one daughter, Mrs. Allie Damitz of Klaber; three sisters, Mrs. Flora Gishwiller, Mrs. Nancy Moon and Mrs. Emma Hubbard, all of Centralia, and 21 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Baw Faw grange hall at Klaber, the Rev. Carl Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Boistfort cemetery under the direction of the Fissell funeral home.
