Winlock Man Dies
WINLOCK - A resident of Winlock for 15 years, Martin Klessen, 91, died Wednesday in a Chehalis hospital.
Born April 3, 1873, in Denmark, he came to Winlock from Sioux Falls, S.D. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church here.
In addition to the widow, Sophia, at home, he is survived by two foster sons, Harold Klessen, Seattle, and Thorkel Klessen, Sioux Falls.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's, with the Rev. Ronald Opjorden officiating. Burial will follow at the Toledo cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fir Lawn Funeral Chapel in Toledo.
