Mrs. A. R. Scott of Bremer Dies Suddenly

Bremer, Nov. 23. - All were shocked to learn of the death of our neighbor and friend, Mrs. A. R. Scott, who died quite suddenly last Tuesday evening. She was well known to all her neighbors and all will miss her smiling face. Mrs. Scott is survived by the widower, two sons, Neil, and Andrew of Hoodsport; three daughters, Mrs. Bob Angst of Hoodsport, Mrs. Henrietta McKune of Nevada and Mrs. Queenie Studhalter of Morton; also two sisters, two brothers and two granddaughters. Mrs. Maud Scott

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Morton Community church for Mrs. Maud Scott, well known resident of Tilton river valley, near Bremer, who died within the week from a paralytic stroke. Mrs. Scott, who was born in Kansas 50 years ago, lived the past 24 years in Lewis county, most of the time in the Bremer district. She is survived by the widower, Andrew R. Scott; two sons, Neil and Andrew; three daughters, Mrs. Henrietta McCune of Nevada, Mrs. Minnie Angst of Hoodsport and Mrs. Louie Studhalter of Morton; two sisters, Mrs. Inez Teitzel of Forest and Mrs. Vallie Core of Morton. Rev. E. M. Scheyer officiated at the funeral, burial being in Morton cemetery, directed by J. J. Kreps of Morton. (p. 6)
