DEATHS OF TWO MATRONS OCCUR
Mrs. Joseph Muller and Mrs. Adam Rose, Former Resident, Pass Away Here

The deaths of a Centralia matron and a former resident of this city occurred the past week end.

Mrs. Joseph Muller, 31, passed away Saturday evening at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kilby, on Route 3, following a long illness. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by three children, Billy, Bobby and Betty; a brother, Elmer Kilby, Centralia, and four sisters, Mrs. Clyde Arnold, Mrs. Martha Clifford and Mrs. Guy Anderson, all of this city, and Mrs. Archie Smith, in Idaho.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Sticklin chapel, Rev. Guy DeVries officiating and interment being in the Mt. View burial park.

The death of Mrs. Agnes Rose, 44, who made her home here before moving to Tacoma seven years ago, occurred in a Centralia hospital Saturday afternoon, to which she had been brought for treatment. She is survived by her husband, Adam Rose; son, Ralph; daughter, Barbara, and sister, Mrs. Tillie Ashton, Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock at the First Baptist church in Tacoma, Rev. R. L. Powell officiating and interment being in the Tacoma Cemetery. Mrs. Rose's body is at the Fissel and Reynolds mortuary here.

She was the daughter of Henry and Jane (Johns) Kilby. According to the Lewis County Genealogical Society's transcription, she was buried at Greenwood Memorial Park (a.k.a. Sticklin Greenwood Cemetery). Mrs. Adam Rose was Agnes (Bachtenkircher) Rose, daughter of William and Artie (Witham) Bachtenkircher, who died in Centralia on 22 Jul 1933.]
