Successful Dance

The dance given Saturday night at Marshall's hall was a decided success. The dance was given by the Woman's club. A large crowd was present and everyone reports a good time. Mrs. Roy Ward made an angel food cake which was raffled off in a Chinese raffle and brought $12.66. The total amount realized from the dance, cake and lemonade was about $77 92 but some expense will be paid out of this amount. Marshall's hall sure boasts of one of the best floors to be found in the county and those who enjoy dancing find it a pleasure to be on this floor. The Woman's club wishes to thank the public for their attendance and especially to Miss Florence Spinner, Gunnar Halgren and Harry Parkinson, who so willingly furnished the splendid music for the entire evening free to the ladies. A large crowd attended from Forest, Onalaska, Guerrier and Chehalis.
