Nixon-Layton.

Charles Nixon and Miss Nora Layton were united in marriage Tuesday evening of last week at Vancouver by Rev. H. Jones of the Christian church. Frank Scott and Miss Cecelia Shepardcatch of Portland were attendants. Mrs. Nixon is a duaghter of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Layton of Layton prairie and one of the popular young ladies of the vicinity. Mr. Nixon is employed at the Karlen Creameries, inc. and is a young man of sterling qualities. Immediately after the ceremony the newlyweds returned to the home of the bride's parents, where a bountiful wedding dinner was served. Covers were laid for the immediate family. The young couple will make their home in Toledo. Mr. and Mrs. Nixon have a host of friends who wish them a happy and prosperous future.
