Nobel Miller

MORTON - Nobel Miller, 68, Morton, died unexpectedly Thursday while on a fishing trip near Sekiu.

He was born Nov. 27, 1903, at Velpin, Ind., and came to Washington as a young man.

Mr. Miller was a retired logging engineer and had resided at Morton for the past 27 years.

He is survived by his widow, Emilia, Morton; two daughters Mrs. Tom (Beverly) Layton, Honolulu, Hawaii, and Mrs. Dan (Shirley) Radecki, Cupertino, Calif.; two brothers, Boyd Miller, Henrietta, Okla., and Heber of Kilgore, Texas; and two grandsons.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Morton United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Donald Dayman officiating. Interment will follow at Morton Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown Mortuary Service, Chehalis.
