Ora Young, wife of Mr. Chas. A. Young and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Freeman, died at her late residence in this city on Tuesday, July 7th, the cause of death being consumption. Mrs. Young had been ailing for several months and a trip to California failed to bring about the desired result. During the days of her suffering she was patient and hopeful, but nothing human could stay the ravages of the disease. The funeral was held from the family residence at the corner of Pine and Oak streets on Thursday, Rev. T. S. Fretz and H. S. Black officiating. Mrs. Young had a host of friends in Centralia and the floral tributes testified to the esteem in which she was held by all who knew her.

Mrs. Young was born at Humbird, Wisconsin, January 20th, 1881. She leaves a husband, a son, Wilbur, aged two and one half years, a brother, Earl, who is in Peru; and a father and mother besides a number of other relatives. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved ones. The interment was made in the Washington Lawn cemetery.

Mrs. Young was married December 9, 1903 at Kent, this state, by Rev. T. S. Fretz.
