Porter L. C. Jones, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Porter Jones Sr., died at the family home in the Claquato district Thursday, December 30, from complications following an attack of scarlet fever. Besides his parents he is survived by five sisters.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the John W. Boone mortuary under Apostolic Faith auspices. Burial was at Claquato.
