Pleasant Hill Has Big Social Event

Pleasant Hill, Dec. 15. - A large crowd gathered Friday evening at the O. Halvorsen home for an enjoyable social evening. Miss Emma Johnston was awarded a fine quilt and a prize also went to Mrs. Wayne Angel. Cards and conversation were featured. A lunch was served by members of the Pleasant Hill home economics club. The following families were present: I. Unterwegner, K. W. Fischer, O. Padrick, S. M. Viles, J. H. McCord, A. L. Angel, H. Huber, E. J. Cairns, B. J. Burton, J. B. Unterwegner; also Wm. Henrich, Mrs. Wayne Angel, Theofeld and Emil Ozar, Geo. Auer, Mrs. Louise Bohler, Earl and Laurence Cole, Mrs. Ralph Cairns and son Donald; Mr. and Mrs. M. F. O'Toole and children of Centralia, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Unterwegner and daughter, Gus Schwartz, Miss Emma Johnston, Miss Elizabeth Henrich and Mr. Johnston, all of Chehalis, and the host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. O. Halvorsen and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph of Tacoma are making their home with their son, Sol Ralph.

Mrs. Halvorsen and Mrs. Bohler attended the meeting of club presidents held at the courthouse Tuesday.
